Buffet taking advantage of tax loophole to avoid estate tax
HI Alice, just watched a CNBC video dated 12 Nov 2009, in which you supported the view that Buffet is taking advantage of tax loophole to avoid estate tax/ or some tax. In fact citing this as an example you went on to say that there are some inconsistencies in Buffet principles and in his behavior. There might be, but this example does not show anything like that.
Just one question, Are you willing to donate 90% of your wealth to avoid wealth tax? When someone is donating his wealth, you cannot accuse him of taking advantage of loophole. Government is not fool, some of the ways to avoid tax might be intentionally left out too. But that's not my main argument.
I might have missed or understood something wrong, please explain what do you think donating money is taking advantage of a loophole and exhibit his inconsistent behavior.
