Can I purchase your interview audio tapes?
You mention hundreds of hours of audio interviews that you recorded while writing the book, my question is how do I get copies of this material and what'll it cost me.
I can't get enough, Is anyone else willing to pay for these audio files?

Hugh
Dear Ms. Schroeder,
I read recently the Confidence Game about Mr. Ackman and MBIA. The author created a website for the book. On the website she posted the Ackman interview transcripts of the investigations by the NY Attorney General and the SEC. I really enjoyed reading them. I felt that the author's posting of the interviews truly added value to the book which I had bought. I felt like they were part of the experience of reading the book. If she had not posted them, I probably would not have been able to learn about the information which they contained.
When I think of some of my favorite books, they are often books which contain collections of interviews. The interviews are with primary sources who specialize, and these books often contain information that I have not seen anywhere else.
Some examples of books that I like which contain interviews are:
1. Done Deals
2. Stock Market Superstars: Secrets of Canada's top stock pickers
3. Stock Market Wizards
4. Founders at Work
5. How I Became a Quant
I recently have been rereading The Snowball which I purchased. I also saw that there were hours of interviews, and I thought, I really would like to listen to these interviews. I was disappointed to find here that you will not be posting the interviews. However, I want to thank you for writing such a wonderful book. I also want to thank you for posting your articles and thoughts here. I enjoy hearing what you have to say. Recently I saw on youtube an hour long speech you gave at UVA for a value investing conference. In it I think that you mentioned that you were considering writing a specialized book about Mr. Buffett's investment methods. I would definitely be interested in buying and reading that type of book. Thanks again for all your writings.
Sincerely,
Hugh

audiotapes
Hi Josh,
I can understand your curiosity - and there are probably a lot of people who would pay for them besides you. They're not for sale and won't be published, though. It just wouldn't be right - they were the raw material for writing the book and nothing more.
