Book/Buffett Question
Having long been intrigued by Warren Buffett and his rise, I read The Snowball the week it came out. I thought it was great but it still didn't answer one nagging question I've always had about Buffett.
He's notorious for not selling any of his personal shares and pouring earnings back into his businesses. He also famously takes a negligible salary and lives a relatively frugal life. So how did he support the somewhat extravagant spending of Susie all those years? The legend of Buffett's tight grip on the checkbook does not match at all with what was being spent. Can someone else or Ms. Schroeder please explain the disconnect?
Thanks,
Mike

How did Buffett support Susie ??
Sorry, I just came across this query. I am not aware of how "extravagant" Susie really was. But, Buffett has always maintained a private account in which he traded stocks and made quite a bit of money.
This "extra" cash may have been used for "extravagant" Susie.
