 My latest column takes on the Meredith Whitney-vs.-everyone-else-on-Wall-Street battle over municipal bond defaults. My conclusion: Whitney will win.

general question, why does Warren not buy tobacco stocks

There was an observation by WB that cigarette companies were the perfect business, but I have never seen that BRK invests in them. Why? It seems to trite an answer to say it's because they harm people, as his beer, asbestos, junk food, sugar & phosphic acid water drinks (KO), etc. investments are all clearly also harmful.
